Funeral services for Mrs. Frankie Watson Mixon will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at Watson Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-7 PM and Saturday after 10 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Mixon, age 68 of Nashville passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

Born July 29, 1948, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Franklin Pierce Watson and Clara Lucille Joines Watson. She worked fifty years at Marshall & Bruce Printing Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nathan Neeley and a sister, Marilyn Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Marion B. “Buddy” Mixon; two children, Jarvis Neeley and Shelly (Tim) Martin; two grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Meadows and Rachel Elizabeth Neeley; and great grandson, Cameron Tidwell Jr.

Don worked with Frankie for thirty years. He said she was there when he started and then still there when he retired. Janie and I both thought a lot of her of her. We are both so sorry for your loss, I know you will miss her. We will be praying for Buddy and the rest of your family.
