Elizabeth Vaden Drury

Mrs. Elizabeth Vaden Drury, age 37 of Lebanon, passed away September 22, 2017. Born in Davidson County, TN, she was the daughter of Charles Alvie Vaden and Judith Ann Franklin Vaden.  She was a graduate of Martin Luther King Magnet High School and Middle Tennessee State University.  She was a loan officer for Sun Trust Bank in Mt. Juliet and Brentwood.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Roy Vaden Sr., Beulah Beechboard, Luther Glen Franklin.  She is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Sam Drury; two daughters, Vaden and Cate Drury; Parents:  Charles and Judy Vaden; three sisters:  Christy (John Jr.) Hamilton, Alicia Nicole (Kyle) Dauw, Rebecca Joyce (Jason) Englehardt; grandmother, Peggy Joyce Franklin; mother-in-law, Peggy (Bob) Van Riper; father-in-law, John (Gail) Drury; sister-in-law, Crystal (Patrick) Law; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, with Pastor Jacob Armstrong officiating. Interment – Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Pallbearers:  Kevin Pellatiro, Eddie Kirkrus, Chris Adams, Ryan Jett, John Drury, Joshua Reece.  Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday after 11 a.m.

  3. Elizabeth was a professional and personal delight. I have been a client of Elizabeth’s for many years, following her to Synovus and back. She was kind, thoughtful, helpful and the best banker I have ever known. We talked about our kids often. My sincerest condolences to her family. She will be missed on countless levels.

    Although I did not know Elizabeth personally, I feel like I knew her through my close friends Crystal Law and Paige Underwood. I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how much she will be missed by her family, friends, and co-workers. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
