Carl R. Howard

img005Carl R. Howard age 81 of Lebanon died February 3, 2015.  A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late Sidney Ewing Howard and  Ethel Parker Howard.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.  He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the Lebanon Masonic Lodge # 98 F & AM, A York Rite Mason, Grand Officer of the Grand Lodge of TN 2009.  He was a member of National Camping Travelers.  He retired from the road building and excavating business.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Bundy Howard; daughter, Pam Crutcher; two brothers:  Robert K. and Melvin Howard; two sisters:  Gladys Barnett and Earline Bucy.

Survived by grandchildren:  Paul (Nikki) Wright, Carla Taylor; brother, Larry Howard; devoted friend, Joyce Allen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Shelby officiating.  Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Middle TN Camping Travelers Club.  Active Pallbearers:  Paul Wright, Jeff, Wayne, Scotty, Dewayne Howard, Sam Crutcher.  Visitation Wednesday 3-7 p.m. and Thursday after 11 a.m.  Masonic Chapel Service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
