Wair CoverMr. Billy W. Wair age 78 of Lebanon died March 23, 2016.  A native of Davidson County, he was the son of the late Wesley Walton Wair and Emma Frances Haley Wair.  He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.  He retired from Metro-Nashville Public Works as construction foreman with thirty-eight years of service.  He was preceded in death by brother, John Robert Wair; step-son, Kevin Gammon.  Survived by wife of thirty-two years, Claudine Flippen  Wair; two sons:  Jeffery (Dana) Wair, Gary (Paddy) Wair; step-son, Christopher A. Gammon; brother, Lee Roy Wair; sister, Nancy (Jim) Angelo; eight grandchildren:  Jeffery Walton Wair II, Ryne Albert Wair, Thomas Taylor Wair, Tia Goodman, Tiffany Burnett, Jacob and Holly Wair, Logan Fleener; eleven great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, with Bro. Rick Burns and Bro. David Humphrey officiating.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Employees of Metro- Nashville Public Works.  Active Pallbearers:  Ryne, Taylor and Jeffery Wair II, Brad Goodman, Blake Burnett, Phillip Jones, Monty Escue, Paul Pierce. Private Interment – Wair Family Cemetery in Davidson County.  Special thanks to the staff of Quality Health Care and Gentiva Hospice.  Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m.  and Friday after 10 a.m.
