Billy M. Williams Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Billy M. Williams Sr. will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Medlin officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Tuesday 2–7 PM and Wednesday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Williams, age 87 of Lebanon passed away at his home on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Born November 21, 1931, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Watt and Gladys Morris Williams.  He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.  He was a member of Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  He worked at Precision Rubber, Aladdin Industries, and retired from Cracker Barrel where he served as supervisor of maintenance and grounds.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty two years, Betty Grissim Williams on September 17, 2014; and a brother, Watt Williams Jr.

He is survived by two children: Renae Williams Mills and Bill (Leslie) Williams; five grandchildren: Donald (Dyana) Mills, Lana Williams (Zach) Dyals, Beverly Williams (Josh) Summit, Rachel Williams (Ryan) Evans, and Max Olander; great grandchildren: Xavier & Chandler Mills, Grant & Elsie Dyals.

Memorials may be made to Wilson County Veterans Museum
