Announcement

2020 will commemorate 100 years Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home has served our community.  Eighty two of those years have been at our current location on West Main Street.  During those 100 years there have been many changes, good times and bad have come and gone.  We are still open and ready to serve families during this unprecedented time concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19).

It is our highest priority while assisting families with honoring the lives of their loved ones to protect the health and safety of our families, community and staff.  We are cleaning and sanitizing our facility daily, before, during and after services and have several hand sanitizing stations throughout.  We are monitoring this rapidly changing situation closely and are following the guidelines as set forth by our national and state health officials including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  As a precaution for everyone, if you are symptomatic of COVID-19, the seasonal flu or even the common cold – STAY HOME.  Health officials advise to practice social distancing, do not shake hands and no hugs until this health emergency has passed. If you are unable to attend we invite you to send condolences via our website www.ligonbobo.com or call us and we will be happy to register your name.

Thank you to all of our first responders and health care workers that protect and care for our community each day.

We all look forward to things getting back to normal when we can greet one another with a firm handshake, attend church, eat in our favorite restaurant or go to sporting events.  As always, if you have questions or concerns please give us a call at 615-444-2142.
